Mechanical Electrician - Perth, WA

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Electrician to install, service, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and mechanical electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who enjoys problem-solving and working in a dynamic environment.

As a Mechanical Electrician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality installations, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring efficient and reliable building automation solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

◆ Installation & Maintenance: Carry out electrical installations, wiring, and maintenance of BMS and mechanical control systems. 

◆ Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. 

◆ Commissioning: Assist in the commissioning and testing of BMS and HVAC control systems. 

◆ Client Support: Work closely with clients, engineers, and technicians to deliver high-quality service and solutions. 

◆ Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical and safety standards. 

◆ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical work, system modifications, and service reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A valid WA Electrical Licence.

• Additional BMS or HVAC control training is highly regarded. 

• Proven experience working with electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments.

• Previous exposure to BMS or HVAC control systems is a strong advantage. 

◈ Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control wiring.

• Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Niagara, Trend, or Schneider. 

◈ Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions. 

◈ Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and collaborative approach. 

◈ Additional: A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required.
