BMS Technician
About the Role
As a BMS Control Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and commissioning cutting-edge Building Management Systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance for a range of clients, from commercial buildings to complex facilities. You’ll also play a key role in problem-solving, diagnosing faults, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and commission BMS systems to meet performance and compliance standards.
Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for HVAC and control systems.
Work closely with clients to provide expert advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
Ensure accurate documentation of work and prepare comprehensive reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Maintain compliance with safety and OH&S standards at all times.
About You
Experience:Minimum 3 years’ experience in BMS/Controls, HVAC, or a related field.
Strong skills in fault finding and problem resolution for control systems.
Proficiency in programming and using engineering tools for BMS systems.
Skills:Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Qualifications:Trade Certificate or higher in Electrical, Instrumentation, or HVAC.
Current OH&S induction card (Construction/White Card).
Valid driver’s licence and Australian citizenship/work visa.
